Last night, my son was driving our car home when the drive shaft decided it had had enough and completely broke, leaving him stranded on a busy road. Thankfully, he happened to break down right in front of EV Rides—talk about good (or maybe bad?) timing! I rushed over to assess the situation, expecting chaos, but instead, I found the amazing folks at EV Rides already on the scene, helping my son move the car to a safer spot. They spent the next hour with us, brainstorming ways to make the car at least somewhat drivable so we could limp it to a more secure location. They truly went above and beyond for a couple of strangers, working hard to get us back on the road. It's proof that true kindness still exists! It was a pleasure buying my Nissan Leaf from EV Rides. On a recommendation from a family member, I contacted them through the website, and they got right back to schedule an appointment. Guillermo was extremely helpful, patient and accommodating as we went through the process of test driving, then processing the paperwork. I'm very happy with my vehicle, and everything went very smoothly.
Also, they have a unique business model of outfitting used EVs with updated batteries. You pick the car, then pick the battery capacity/range that fits your budget. I went with a 40kwh battery, and it is perfect for in-town driving and beyond (160 mile max range). But if you need more distance, they have options.

Guillermo and the staff at EV Rides are fantastic! These are top notch, knowledgeable and up to the minute mechanics first, welcoming salesmen second. They can customize a Nissan Leaf or Tesla to your personal specs in lightning speed, and continue your needs way beyond purchase date. EDIT: We came back and bought another vehicle (June 2024) after our original EV was hit in an accident. So incredibly helpful in figuring out an insurance nightmare.
